Marriage encounters, enhancements, seminars, and retreats provide get-away opportunities for couples to revitalize their marriage. Living in a cost and time driven society makes it difficult for many to take advantage of these opportunities, however.

THREEFOLD CORD MINISTRIES is a nonprofit organization founded by the husband and wife team, Drs. John and Deborah Bauers. It exists to educate couples about the value of marriage and to assist husbands and wives in experiencing the joy and excitement that may be found in a godly marriage. John and Deborah have worked side by side since 1974 in the areas of Pastoral Care and Professional Christian Counseling. John is a charter member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and has held leadership positions on numerous parachurch organizational boards across the State of Colorado. He is an ordained minister and has served as both a Senior and Associate Pastor of Care as well as Chaplain for Law Enforcement. Deborah is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), and an adjunct Professor for a Christian College and Seminary in Colorado Springs. She has been the owner operator of Therapetic Christian Counseling since 1989. Deborah is the author of Three Questions to Heal a Marriage, a workbook for couples that provides an intentional, comprehensive model for marital intervention. Both John and Deborah are gifted public speakers and have addressed professional audiences across the country, teaching the model for marital therapy upon which Three Questions to Heal a Marriage is based.

It has become apparent that the institution of marriage and family is experiencing an unprecedented attack of spiritual warfare. Divorce rates have never been higher. Threefold Cord Ministries believes that prevention is a key to the health of relationships. TCM offers you practical tools to build a relationship, renew your marriage, and restore the broken cords of the relationship between you, your spouse, and God.
